GIANFRANCO FERRÉ HOME

The home collection was born in 2014 and inherited Gianfranco Ferré’s fashion style: a perfect combination of contemporaneity and classic elegance.

Gianfranco Ferré was known in the world as “the architect of fashion”. His creations represented the exact balance between design, culture and art. The creations of Gianfranco Ferré Home take inspiration from the furnishings of the wonderful country houses of late XIX century England. The collection is distinguished by very recognizable references: the use of menswear fabrics, destressed shades on woods, monochromatic colors, contrast piping for the upholstery, and ton sur ton combinations.

The masculine fabrics that dress the furniture are piedde-poule, pinstripes, twill weave, and Prince of Wales; patterns that Gianfranco Ferré loved to use in his fashion collections and that were employed by English lords for their casual outfits. The assertive style along with the quality of material and the care for details make the Gianfranco Ferré Home collection thoroughly unique: never the same, yet always unmistakable.
